The parcel box is designed with a pair of mounting brackets, and a pair of brace bars. The mounting brackets slide through the doors mail slot to be attached to the clamping lock, The brace bars restrict movement of the parcel box by clamping against the door. These two components are permanently fixed to the parcel box.
Lifting up the parcel box by its fixed handles and inserting the mounting brackets through the doors letter slot is the first step in the installation process. This step is to be done on the outside of the door.
The next step is to attach the clamping lock to the mounting brackets by lining up the extruding thread on the mounting brackets to the holes on the clamping lock. This step is to be done on the reverse side of the door.
The clamping lock also features two additional rubber grip clamps levers that need to be screwed in towards the door. This final step creates a clamping force together with the pair of brace bars., and completes the installation keeping all components firmly in place.
The parcel box will then be secured to the door, ready for parcels to be safely delivered into it. The parcel box cannot be removed or tampered with unless the door is opened to access the clamping lock. To remove the parcel box from the door, it simply involves reversing the installation process.
The parcel box and clamping lock is designed to be installed through any size of door mail slots. It can also be adjusted for installation onto various door thicknesses ranging from 30mm up to 48mm
